Keep On 02:46
Keep on, keep on Keep on leading me on. I'll hold on, I'll hold on I'll hold on like all hope's not gone. Tell me, tell me Tell me where I went wrong And I'll leave, I'll leave I'll leave all my doubts in a song. Find me, find me Find me far from dry land. Where I'll be, where I'll be Where I'll be sifting through sand. You'll see, you'll see You'll see gold in my hand. For finally, finally I'm finally made a new man.

A tear falls down, for me it’s real, You put your drying eyes upon your sail. If I built a road from me to you, For that paradise what would I do? To ignite the skies when the day is dark, Would it be enough to try to reach your heart? And if I found the words, and my time was due To fall in love, to fall in love, to fall in love with you. My thoughts ran wild when that fire burned bright, And the curlews called deep in the night. Our words fall like rain and take us by surprise, I see it in your lips, I know it in your eyes. Yes I feel your love, and I feel no shame, I can’t release my fear, so I call your name. What you are to me, what would I do? If I fell in love, to fall in love, to fall in love with you. My feet drag slow upon the sand, I’ll find firmer ground when I’m made a man. I dream of what might be if we could rewind, But maybe I would see if I just left my mind. When I found these strings I learned to fly, And I heard your name where angels lie. They sing of what’s to come and their words ring true, To fall in love, to fall in love, to fall in love with you. But how can the doors trust on a nail? How can I be surprised each time I fail? In the distant road I won’t be the same, For your voice left me shivering in shame. But from a dying flower fresh seeds will fall, The beauty still to come can help us crawl. So I befriend the pain I had to go through To fall in love, to fall in love, to fall in love with you.

It was a cold wind from the south that night That carried my feet to you. You stood beneath a flickering street light In a coat of cornflower blue. You know it’s true I would’ve walked right by If you hadn’t called my name. Hearing your voice I began to cry, And opened my mouth to say. Have you seen my heart, I think I lost it Along this way last night. Yes it fell from my sleeve, got caught in the breeze, Now it’s blown far from my sight. And this aching pain no it won’t go away Til I fill this hole inside. And I need to know why you would give me the skies, Then tell me it was all just a lie. I felt weak as you took my hand And gazed straight into my soul. My son you seek to understand The things that time alone holds. You’ve been told a truth you hated to hear, But you can piece yourself together again. Face that fear you say you can’t bear, She was never part of your plan. And find your heart, I know you lost it Along this way last night. Yes it fell from your sleeve, got caught in the breeze Now it’s blown far from your sight. And that aching pain no it won’t go away Til you fill that hole inside. And I could answer all your why’s, reveal all your lies, But this battle you need to fight. Well how can you say it’s all said and done, If my lips still burn from the words unsung? Maybe it was nothing, never meant to be, Well it sure as hell felt like a lot to me. The dawn gifted its radiant rays, Streaking the sky red rose. I know I’ll find my way to my heart this day, For from here it’s not far to go.

If I were to stay... Do you think we could feel this way forever? You must know that I'm afraid, Searching for the words to make it better. I I were to pray... Do you think that an angel might answer? Come down and carry us away To a place we could find rest together. Would it be the softest song floating gently on the wind, Or the scent of the first summer's rain? Oh tell me do you see how simple it might be If I were to stay. When it's time to leave Will our words share the whispers of our hearts? Or will we let it be? Knowing words can sometimes fall hard. When it's time to leave Will the silence say more than we could? Will you take me sailing 'cross the seas? To a place where love reigns as it should. Would it be a land of peace near the orange light of dusk, Where no war was ever waged for corporate gain? Would we find the purest cause to point our lives towards? If I were to stay. You know song is the blood that pumps through my veins And it's you that I bleed for today. So just tell me do you see how happy we might be? If I were to stay.

St Anthony 04:10
Step back my soul, take a hard look at your life Through fears and through failures, you know you never fled the fight. Now late at night with pen clutched tight, drunk on your own sorrow, You write these words and hope in vain they could clear doubt’s dark shadow. And how long has it been since you last cried? Each tear torture, a shameful show that hurts the pride you hide. The problem with sadness is sometimes it’s sung so pretty, So I think I’ll just swim a while in the melancholy sea. St Anthony please intercede for me, my courage is lost now all that’s left’s uncertainty. Help me to find the confidence I once owned, that I don’t have to walk this world alone. Met a sidewalk prophet on the corner of Norfolk road, 3pm on a Saturday, bare feet sippin’ cheap Merlot. He said, would you follow the wind if it whispered your name? Take a step off this worldly rock and just drift away. Often in life it takes letting go to gain, Like stripping bare of the clothes you wear and dancing in the rain. I’d give without expectation, yes I’d love with no condition, If I could withdraw all longing for meaningless recognition. St Anthony please intercede for me, my courage is lost now all that’s left’s uncertainty. Help me to find the confidence I once owned, that I don’t have to walk this world alone. When the pain fades and my beating heart is still, The truth sings softly in the silence until It sinks in slow and I know I’m loved, I’m loved. St Anthony please intercede for me, my courage is lost now all that’s left’s uncertainty. Help me to find the confidence I once owned, that I don’t have to walk this world alone.

Georgia 03:15
Georgia stay with me For the night is growing cold. When I hold you in these arms You make my soul feel so old. Georgia sing to me That song that speaks straight from the heart. Throw your words up there with the stars And I'll watch as they light up the dark. Sing of the heartache The love lost and gone. Sing of the friends that we found. Sing to me and I will truly believe That you'll always be around. Sing of the heartache The love lost and gone. Sing of the friends that we found. Sing to me and I will truly believe That you'll always be around. Sing to me and I will truly believe That you'll always be around.

Identity 04:00
Are you not a true patriot? He asked me in disdain. I replied in kind, when this land was made Our ancestors weren’t blessed with its name. My Nonno set sail in 1955, from Abruzzo Italia. Escaping la miseria the world war left behind, to find work in Australia. He earned his wage on the land of the Warrgamay, where he cut sugar cane. Though some nights he’d dream of his people across the seas, it’s thanks to him I’m here today. Are you not a true patriot? Won’t you hoist our flag of stars? In its bloodstained glory, built on buried massacre stories, Our truth is told in a trail of scars. My Irish forebearers fled their homeland, in mid-19th century. After 700 years beneath the terror of the English man, fleeing famine and poverty. They likely did land on the country of a Dharawal clan, where their new lives began. Great songs they’d sing of their war-torn history, it’s thanks to them here now I stand. Are you not a true patriot? Won’t you sing our anthem clear? About how we are free, as we detain each refugee, And profit off the wars that fuel their tears. But I am so grateful for this rich and fertile land, the wild valleys and calming creeks. For the morning cup of coffee nestled warmly in my hand, wrapped in gold as the new dawn breaks. But must I embrace, your borders and your states, your attempts to separate? As we cling desperately to our safe identities, I’m dreaming of a world we could make.

I lay there gasping my last breath, close by me lie the bodies of those I love This man before me must be Death, in green and brown he followed the beast above Amidst the screams of agony somehow the worst pain I feel burns in my heart The tears bring flooding memories, our lives of simple joy now shattered apart And I thought… Why do they come here, those demons of hell? Death's servant angels, I fear they were summoned by and evil spell What have we done to deserve a horror such as this? As I beg Allah for the answer I'm greeted by Death's kiss. She sat there staring at the screen, her last task of the day was plaguing her thoughts, A secret base in Alice Springs, so far away her job still made her distraught. And she thought… Upon who will we really steer, those demons of hell? Suspected terrorists their guilt is clear, but God can we truly tell? This power we possess deep down inside I condemn But I have family back home in the U.S., so I'll say I'm protecting them. He tread slowly through the bodies, stopped short upon the sight of a dying child. A pain inside him came with tears, still 'no innocents' read the report he filed. But he thought… Why do we send them here, those demons of hell? True heroes are what they cheer and I used to believe it as well. But no amount of lies they say can take my guilt and shame, And no God to whom I pray would justify this pain. No God to whom I pray would justify this pain.

By Midnight 03:24
In the morning they asked for my eyes. You can take them I said, gaze up at the skies, Guess I’ve seen enough things in this life. But each year passed on is lonelier than the last one, I wonder is this what growing old is like? In the morning they left with my eyes. And at midday they asked for my skin. Hey it’s just your outer shell, not the contents within. So smiling I stripped it for them. I’ve spent each dying day, trying to find a way To help this cruel world change the only ways I can. And at midday they left with my skin. In the evening they asked for my blood. So I offered my forearm, they filled up a jug. I fell down and bled out in the mud. But of all the pain it’s clear, it’s loneliness I fear, Lying stripped bare, crying in the cold. In the evening they left with my blood. And by midnight I had nothing left. So they spat in my face as a parting gift, And ill of my name they professed. But though I’m left more bitter than the harshest winter, I’ll love them forever with every dying breath. And though I’m left more bitter than the harshest winter, I’ll love them forever with every dying breath. And by midnight I had nothing left.

Farewell 02:31
Farewell to you my dearest friends, I never know quite what to say. For I always depart with the heaviest heart and I’ll be gone by the breaking of day. So farewell to you my dearest friends, soon I must be on my way. And farewell to you my pain and pride, I’ll process your weight in due time. And songs I will write of the heart and the fight, for the folk to whom this life’s been unkind. So farewell to you my pain and pride, I’m sailing away on the tide. And farewell to you my troubled mind, you’ll hold me enslaved no more. The wild wind has changed now it’s howling my name, and it’s high time I heeded the call. So farewell to you my troubled mind, I’m shaking you off at the door. Farewell to you my dearest friends, I think I now know what to say. Great battles we’ve fought, to my knees I was brought, my strength all but withered away. So farewell to you my dearest friends, soon I might be back to stay.
